Agreement to Terms
By downloading or using PackRight, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Use of the App
PackRight is a personal packing list management application. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or networks
- Redistribute or resell the app or any part of it
In-App Purchases
PackRight offers optional in-app purchases for curated packing list templates. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
Some curated lists are free. The rest are premium, and each is a one-off purchase, as is the single unlock that covers all of them — buy once and it stays bought, with no subscription and nothing that expires. Apple holds every purchase against the Apple Account that made it, so a reinstall or a new device recovers them: sign in to that account and use Restore purchases in the app. This does not depend on iCloud, and works with iCloud Drive switched off.
Which of the free lists you have chosen to use is a separate matter. That is a preference rather than a purchase, and it syncs through your own iCloud account, so it does need iCloud to be signed in and reachable to appear on another device.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. We cannot issue one, and we cannot restore a purchase on your behalf — there is no record of it on our side, by design. What we can do is help you work out what went wrong and point you at the right Apple process. Refunds are requested at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple's refund policy and your rights under applicable law.
User Data
You are solely responsible for any data you enter into PackRight. We recommend using the backup feature to protect your data. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or any other cause.
iCloud Services
PackRight's backup feature uses Apple's iCloud Drive. Use of iCloud is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions. We are not responsible for any issues arising from iCloud service availability or performance.
Intellectual Property
PackRight and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
PackRight is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
PackRight is published by an individual developer based in Japan. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Nothing here removes any consumer rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
